Starbucks in Taylor Lakeside University officially opened on 30th September 2010, just nice before September ends. The working hours of it is 8am till 10pm which is 14hours per day. It is located at the ground floor which is near to Student Central. There are some cakes and donuts in Starbucks and a lot choices of drinks like coffee, that includes hot and ice blended drinks. It is crowded all the working hours although the price is quite expensive if compared to Old Town White Coffee. However, it is a cafe where most of the students chose to hang out and do their projects. Therefore, there also separated into two areas which is smoking area and non-smoking area, so students can avoid the smell of smokes in the non-smoking area. In short, it is a great place to study but the price quite expensive that some people can't afford it or want to save money. And it is self service for your drinks and foods.

SNOWY CAFE
As a famous and international university, there are a huge number of students are study here who are from different counties. So the university should take student’s fancy of food.There are many different types of restaurant which has different kind of taste. Such as Chinese cuisine, Korean cuisine, Indian cuisine and so on.
One of my favorite restaurant called “Snowy Café” which is located on the second floor of the food area. When you enter the restaurant, you can hear a warm greeting with smile from the waitress who are enthusiastic and friendly. They serve the food very fast, if you are in hurry with your class, I think “Snowy Cafe” is your best choice.Also they have a very nice and value set menu that you can choose one meal with one drinks. For example, my favorite is “kung pan chicken rice” with a glass of juice, that all only cost 7.9RM. There is a la cart menu for chef’s recommendation as well, such as “BBQ chicken pizza” and “Noodle with fish ball and sausage”. It is not very expensive, so I always go there to have lunch or dinner. The other reason that I recommend you go is “Snowy Café” has multiple choice, we can find all style of food which are from different counties, such as “Japanese style fried egg rice”, “Thai style fish rice” and “Boston beef rice” and so on .they are open on 10am to 10pm everyday, you can sit there and surf the internet the whole day.
In a word, I am sure you will have a delicious meal and enjoy the best service. Also you can sit on the sofa have a nice chatting time with your friends. What are you waiting for? Just go down to the second floor and you will see a pink signboard—“Snowy Cafe”, then you can start a food journey.

GRUB restaurant is on the lower ground floor 1-3, which is below Starbucks coffee. It is not very spacious, but many tables are offered, so, you don't have to wait. In addition, there is a complex restaurant where you could taste different kinds of food. Such as local Malaysian food likes Nasi Lemak, also, Chinese and occidental food coule be ordered.
Apart from meals, the drinks are delicious as well. You can invite your friends to have some drinks over there. By the way, Nasi Lemak with Redong chicken rice and Ice Lemon Tea are my favourite, they are worth recommending. Beside that, price at here is affordable. For instance, Chicken rice is around RM7.50 and Ice Lemon Tea is RM3.50. But, you have to pay for service tax. In addition, the menu are consist Chinese and English languages which very convenient to new international students.

Taylor's provides a place to eat like a food court. Many foods are sold in the food court and the food court provides plenty of chairs and tables. Because many students eat and together in the food court. Because of cheap food and wine. In the food court they could do the work and they can relax by sitting at the food court. Every student who completed the class, often go there. Every day must have crowded food court, because the price of food and drinks are cheap. Almost everyday a student came to the food court for breakfast. Because of the many chairs and tables, so they're not hard to find a place to eat.
This restaurant is called -- real Kung Fu, this is popular with Chinese students. It is located on campus which has 2 entries. One is beside the food court. The other one is beside the lake. The restaurant is very good. It has a very large area, and people can dine outside, while chatting with friends and enjoying the scenery of Taylor’s University. The Chinese like this restaurant, because this restaurant covers China’s different places tastes, such as noodles and rice. You can meet a lot of friends who have the same taste. There are a lot of dishes on the menu. The boss is Malaysian Chinese who is very friendly. Business hours is from morning10 a.m. to 10 pm, and accepts the take-away, Whoever likes Chinese food , must come to this restaurant, it is a good choice.
